(Photo by Tim Warner/Getty Images)The NFL Draft kicks off tonight! That means the last mock drafts are starting to come in, just hours ahead of the first round.Once again, it seems very unlikely that Texas has a player go on the first day.  The last Longhorn that earned that honor was Malcolm Brown, who was the final pick of the first round by the New England Patriots in 2015.Expect more on the horizon with Tom Herman’s continually improving recruiting efforts. Still, in the 2019 NFL Draft we should see a few Horns selected throughout.Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller published a new full seven-round mock NFL Draft today, with four Texas players being drafted.Per Miller’s predictions, the Longhorns will have to wait until late Friday for a pick though. Here are where he has the four Texas players being selected:Round 3, Pick 98 – EDGE Charles Omenihu – Jacksonville Jaguars The countdown is on. The team also produced a rookie Pro Bowler, in punter Michael Dickson, who shined for the Seattle Seahawks after being a fifth round selection.[Bleacher Report]last_img read more
